On January 18, the Moscow International Wildlife Festival “Golden Turtle” opened in the Central House of Artists on Krymsky Val. This is the largest cultural environmental and educational event in Russia. The festival combines a competition of natural photography, documentaries and environmental projects.
Reproductions of works by Vadim Gorbatov are displayed in one of the halls of the Golden Turtle. Here, on weekends, you can also buy some reproductions. The festival will last until February 17.
“Ragged Ear” is one of Vadim Gorbatov’s illustrations for the stories of Ernest Seton-Thompson.
The artist made these works many years ago, but they were never published. Now Seton-Tomposn’s book “Animal Heroes” with drawings by Vadim Gorbatov is being prepared for publication in St. Petersburg.
